Needless to say, we go to the park ALOT.

Gardening-Unleash the Passion

Some items that I am trying to grow in my square foot garden or containers:

peas
tomatoes
beets
spinach
basil
cilantro
carrots
beans
summer squash
zucchini
cucumber
peppers

Quite a long list for a novice but when I do things sometimes I do go overboard and gardening is no exception. But so far I LOVE it. Growing something from seed and lovingly taking care of it is such a special feeling and I never thought I could love these plants like I do.

So far we have had good success with Burpee Greenhouse Kit and I am now in the process of transplanting the seedlings into containers or their respective spots in our raised bed.

Tomorrow, I will take a photo of each plant and document how each one is growing in future posts.

Park Time

It has been such a rainy April that we head to the park whenever we can!

How Not to Pack and Move

1. Start packing two days before the truck and movers are scheduled to arrive.
2. Stuff everything in boxes while the movers are hovering over you because they have nothing to do because they already finished loading the truck.
3. Go back and forth between old digs and new digs about a hundred times because of all the stuff left at old digs.

Lesson learned. PACK everything and do not leave one crumb on the kitchen counter to clean up because you will waste time and energy by doing it after the movers have gone home.

As if I am not busy enough I have decided to start another blog! A blog about everything and anything that will happen in our busy life of three humans plus one canine companion in our new home!
